Four Bundled Conductors Stringing Pulley Blocks are used for four conductors stringing on overhead 500 KV transmission lines. The conductor roller can be made in aluminum alloy or nylon , optional lined with neoprene. The central sheave can be made in steel or Nylon. All the sheaves are mounted on ball bearings. The frame is made in galvanized steel.

Five sheaves Stringing Blocks

Application: It is suitable to string FOUR or FIVE stranded aluminum and ACSR conductors on tangent structures. Compression sleeves, swivel connectors, and pulling rope connectors can pass through the groove. The sheave is made in aluminum alloy or high strength nylon. The big size 508mm, 660mm aluminum alloy sheave can be lined with neoprene. The big size 660mm, 822mm, 916mm, 1040mm nylon sheave can be lined with neoprene.

The central sheave is specially strengthened for passage of pilot wire rope.

1. Clevis fitting are optional, please specify when ordering. Customized blocks could be supplied on request. The data in the model means the outer diameter of sheave X width of sheave (mm).

2. All the sheaves are mounted on ball bearings. The frame of blocks is made in galvanized steel.

Overhead Transmission Line Large Diameter Stringing Blocks

Application: It is suitable to string stranded aluminum and ACSR conductors on tangent structures. Compression sleeves, swivel connectors, and pulling rope connectors can pass through the groove. The sheave is made in aluminum alloy or high strength nylon. The big size 508mm, 660mm aluminum alloy sheave can be lined with neoprene. The big size 660mm, 822mm, 916mm, 1040mm nylon sheave can be lined with neoprene.

According to the quantity of conductors per phase on transmission line, we have single sheave stringing blocks, 3 sheaves stringing blocks, 5 sheaves stringing blocks and 7 sheaves stringing blocks. The 3 sheaves and 5 sheaves stringing blocks can be used for both 2 or 3 conductors and 4 or 5 conductors stringing on transmission line.

We have different structure for 3 sheaves or 5 sheaves stringing blocks, e.g. normal structure stringing blocks and detachable stringing blocks. For normal structure stringing blocks, we also have designed Tandem type stringing blocks, for the big corner tower and big span towers.

Some special stringing blocks are also used in stringing operation: such as helicopter stringing blocks, cross arm mounted stringing blocks, Hold down stringing blocks, Universal Hook type stringing blocks etc.

Different structure of stringing blocks make the installation of pilot wire rope and conductor easier and faster, also reduce the work load on overhead line. Customers could select suitable stringing blocks according to their requirement.
