Three Bundled Conductors Running out Blocks are used for three conductors stringing on overhead transmission lines. The sheave can be made in aluminum alloy or nylon , optional lined with neoprene. All the sheaves are mounted on ball bearings. The frame is made in galvanized steel.

Three sheaves Stringing Blocks

Application: It is suitable to string two or three stranded aluminum and ACSR conductors on tangent structures. Compression sleeves, swivel connectors, and pulling rope connectors can pass through the groove. The sheave is made in aluminum alloy or high strength nylon. The big size 508mm, 660mm aluminum alloy sheave can be lined with neoprene. The big size 660mm, 822mm, 916mm, 1040mm nylon sheave can be lined with neoprene.

1. Clevis fitting are optional, please specify when ordering. Customized blocks could be supplied on request. The data in the model means the outer diameter of sheave X width of sheave (mm).

2. All the sheaves are mounted on ball bearings. The frame of blocks is made in galvanized steel.

Overhead Transmission Line Large Diameter Stringing Blocks

Application: It is suitable to string stranded aluminum and ACSR conductors on tangent structures. Compression sleeves, swivel connectors, and pulling rope connectors can pass through the groove. The sheave is made in aluminum alloy or high strength nylon. The big size 508mm, 660mm aluminum alloy sheave can be lined with neoprene. The big size 660mm, 822mm, 916mm, 1040mm nylon sheave can be lined with neoprene.

The conductor stringing blocks are used to support the conductors on transmission line during stringing operation, and sagging operation of conductors is also completed in the stringing blocks. The sheaves of stringing blocks are touching the conductors during all the stringing and sagging opereation:

1) The stringing blocks should not damage or hurt the conductors during the stringing operation. The material of sheaves in stringing blocks should be good enough to protect the conductors, because most of conductors is covered by stranded aluminum wires, it is soft and easy to be weared during the stringing and sagging operation. The diameter of sheave should be big enough for the conductors.

2) Coefficient of Friction resistance K should be small. The Friction resistance of conductor stringing blocks to the conductor is depended on the bearing of stringing blocks, material of sheaves and the touching area between the conductors and sheaves.

3) The diameter and width of sheaves should be good enough for easy passage of running board, conductor joint and swivel joints or rope joints. The depth of groove is also important for above usage of stringing blocks.

4) The conductor stringing blocks should be easy operated on overhead transmission line. That means the stringing blocks should be light for lifting on tower, easy to be opened for installation of pilot wire rope and moving out of conductors after sagging.
